Inter Quinton v Old Wulfrunians

Wulfs travelled to table topping Quinton for the third game of the season looking to get on track after a poor result the previous week.

Wulfs were awarded a penalty for shirt pulling but Adam Perkins missed from the spot.

Quinton then punished Wulfs against the run of play after another short back pass was intercepted and slotted home.

Adam Perkins made up for his earlier miss by finishing a low cross from Ant Morrison.

Wulfs took the lead from a superb low free kick from
Sam Cole.

Quinton then levelled up just before the break with a dubious looking goal.

Quinton came out quickest after the break and scored quite quickly after a Wulfs defender was muscled off the ball.

Wulfs then got it back to 3-3 after the keeper dropped a Jon Edwards free kick into the path of
Ant Morrison who bundled the ball over the line.

Quinton then had a penalty that was put away, and then scored 2 more before the end.

The end of the game was a scrappy affair with Quinton players becoming cocky and showing a big lack of respect for the opposition.

The referee didn't seem bothered about this so it must be ok.

OWFC Man o' the Match: Ant Morrison

Final score: Inter Quinton 6  Old Wulfrunians 3.
