Bromsgrove started the better team after some poor defending allowed a couple of chances but Wulfs slowly got back into things and created a few of their own.
Joe Nutting was unlucky to get injured during one of these chances and was replaced by Gareth Lawton.
A poor playing surface was making it difficult for both teams to stamp their authority on the match and the game was poised at 0-0 when half time came.
Wulfs got the important first goal after a great through ball put the wand Gareth Lawton in one on one. Lawton held his nerve and coolly slotted home.
Gareth was the villain though in Bromsgrove's leveller when he fouled their forward which resulted in a penalty that was fired home.
Bromsgrove then took the lead after a long punt up field wasn't defended well.
Wulfs squared it up though with a well placed Chris Johns shot finished in the bottom corner.
The good work was undone though when a free kick on the edge of the Wulfs area was saved by Thomas Morgan but not held. The following up player for Bromsgrove put the ball away to secure the points.
Old Wulfs Man o' the match: Steve Jones. (not mentioned in the match report but covered so much ground and played well.)
Current leader in extravagant pants competition: Joe Nutting, with his fine Space Invaders effort.
Final score: Bromsgrove Town 2 Old Wulfrunians 2.
