Wulfs got the win that they have been looking for in a cup that was familiar to some of the team two seasons ago.
The first half didn't produce any goals but very good chances fell to Steve Hardiker and Jamie Taylor.
The Crusaders forwards didn't really have a sniff with Matt Gould and Gary Dimmock winning all high balls and Jed Edwards having his best game defensively so far.
Wulfs took the lead early in the second half through Jamie Taylor after a headed flick on by magician Gareth Lawton fell nice for JT to lob the stranded keeper.
Wulfs then looked to have put the game to bed when Richard Marsh latched on to a Jamie Taylor shot that came back off the post.
Wulfs did push for a 3rd but Hardiker lifted it over the bar.
Gardner and Dimmock both departed the field to let the players on the bench get a run out but this unsettled the team down the left letting Crusaders get a headed goal off a player who hadn't won anything in the air for 80 minutes.
Keeper Thomas Morgan then produced 2 superb close saves to keep Wulfs in front but was let down once again when the forward scored another header with 18 seconds on the clock to take the game to extra time.
Nothing happened in extra time and the game was looking like going to a replay before Jim Lawton popped up on the edge of the area and cushioned a Jamie Taylor pass, moved the ball onto his right foot and rifled it into the top corner to send Wulfs to their first win of the season.
Lets now take this into the League and get up where we deserve to be lads.
OWFC Man o' the Match: Thomas Morgan.
Final score: Old Wulfrunians 3 Crusaders 2 (AET).
