Due to an influx of talented younger players (including school boys and university students) and the ever increasing cost of running a football club that operates seven teams ranging from youth level to veterans, we at Old Wulfrunians' Football Club have had to overhaul the way that we raise our income.  With running costs of over £5000 per season and our steadfast refusal to alter our policy of charging the younger players a much reduced match fee, we have had to take a more professional approach to running our football club.

As part of our ongoing improvements we have set up this web site as a source of humour, of useful information and as an advertising medium, a Disciplinary Committee to ensure that our good reputation remains intact and we have also recently set up an Advertising and Sponsorship Committee whose duties will be to try to bring in outside sponsorship and to make sure the benefits of the sponsorship are not one sided.  We are also in the process of appointing a Press Officer whose duty will be to promote the club and its sponsors at every available opportunity.  The areas we are looking to increase our sponsorship are as follows:-
